Filipino Couples Sure Love Romantic Comedies
I am not a big Sarah Jessica Parker fan myself, but I have to say that I quite enjoyed her romantic comedy with Hugh Grant. "Did You Hear About The Morgans" is a great movie and I have to say one of my favorites so far, but that is not why I am bringing it up.
The reason I want to talk about this movie, and about romantic comedies in general is because I have reached the conclusion that Filipino singles really enjoy these American comedies. Every time I go to a cinema to watch this kind of movie, there are a lot of single Filipino men and women that come to enjoy it too.
This movie for example had a really big Filipino following and I found that quite interesting and refreshing. Maybe this has to do with me being a single Filipino man on the lookout for a cute girl to come my way, maybe it has nothing to do with that at all - but I never thought so many people would enjoy this film as much as I did.
Just goes to show you, you never know who your target audience may end up being. I wonder what the next Filipino singles hit will be.
